  36. Sorry. I did not mean to imply that all Raptor 3's are twice as fast as all
  37. Carreras -- just the 21164/266 versus the 21064/275. I'm sure you've had to
  38. explain to people why the EV5-266 costs more and is faster than the Cobra
  39. when the EV5 actually has a lower clock speed! I stressed the distinction
  40. simply because when most LightWavers think of "Alpha", they think of the
  41. more widespread 21064 machines, and the overwhelming assumption is that
  42. that's what I'm rendering with. If that were true, $30 an hour wouldn't be
  43. such a great deal nowadays. I want prospective clients to know just how much
  44. horsepower they're REALLY getting for their money!
